Wednesday afternoon, Sept. 3rd, 1902, at 3:00 o'clock, Miss Ida May Young, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. W. Young was united in marriage to Mr. Theodore Havens, at the bride's parents, 824 W. Johnson Street, Madison. Miss Bertha Barnard of this city, was bridesmaid and Will Young, the bride's brother was best man. Rev. A. A. Stalker spoke the words that made the happy couple man and wife.

After the ceremony, elaborate refreshments were served; the house was tastefully decorated, the parlor in sweet peas, the back parlor where the marriage took place, with white carnations, white ribbon and asparagus, and the hall and dining room with golden rod.

The bride was gowned in white silk mull, and carried white carnations, the bridesmaid was dressed in blue crepe de chins, and carried pink carnations. The wedding march of Mendellsohn was rendered by Mrs. J. R. Young of Beloit. The couple gave heir friends the slip and left on their wedding trip for parts unknown.

Among the guests from out of town were Fred Ellis, and wife, Mrs. E. D. Barnard, Mrs. Mable Janes, Frank C. Young, wife and son Porter, Cora Schofield, Cora Carpenter and R. S. Hankinson, of this city, Misses P. L. Bailey and Jessie Shepard of Delavan, Mr. Havens and Miss Aldulah, father and sister of the groom, of Beloit, J. C. Truax and wife, Will Bliss, wife and son Hugh, James Harrington, wife and sons Clinton, Alfred and daughter Edna of Madison.

The bride was a resident of this city for a number of years and the Badger joins with many friends in wishing them a life of happines and prosperity. Idamay Margaret YOUNG died on May 26, 1963 at Spokane, Spokane County, Washington, United States of America, at age 86. She was buried after May 26, 1963 at Fairmont Cemetery, Spokane, Spokane County, Washington, United States of America.
